The Product and Process Innovation (PAPI) project has joined forces with innovation and growth expert, Dr Jo North, from The Big Bang Partnership to offer fully funded innovation workshops for SMEs in York & North Yorkshire.
The workshops are designed for businesses looking to thrive and innovate. They comprise of two days worth of business support, in two parts, from top business coaches as well as bespoke mentoring sessions with Dr Jo North. The aim of the workshop program is to support businesses to innovate and grow, discover fresh ideas and turn innovative thinking into commercial reality.
Dr Jo North said:
“Innovation is taking new ideas and applying them to make a purposeful, positive difference. It moves us forward, keeps us relevant and helps businesses to thrive.
The PAPI workshop program is in two parts, in the first part we’ll give you some space to step back and think about your business, and where you want to go. You’ll also meet some great people from other businesses and be able to form a really supportive community.
In the second part, we have a range of experts who will deliver 90 minute sessions on things like app development, finance, social media, and PR. You’ll also get one-to-one time with me to develop an innovation plan for your business.”
Workshop attendee, Stewart Gold from Westray Toys said:
“We were initially nervous…but as we started the program and worked with Jo and the team, we quickly realised how much benefit it would bring to our business. When we look back on the workshop, we realise how much it helped to accelerate our business. I couldn’t recommend the PAPI workshop highly enough.”
Andy Jenkin of Design for Performance Consultancy also found valuable participation:
“It’s not just the breadth of input and advice that makes the program so great – it’s the depth to which each expert facilitator goes to, and the discussions with other participants, that makes it so rich.”
